A/C units are usually on dedicated breakers unless they're smaller window units.

If you have window units, consider changing outlets for EITHER the TV or A/C unit since one may be easier than the other. A good A/C guy may offer solutions, too. It may be a easy fix within your A/C unit - something may have gone bad that can be swapped out, or, the unit may be upgraded with a new component to prevent the problem, too.

Size of window unit or is it central A/C.
Are electrical connections tight?
