VAS just completed a Hat Trick for Me.

1. Biased my Cayin A88T (version 1, internal bias adjusters)

2. Repaired the Cayin remote (I bought it used, the remote was erratic)

3. Rewired my Tonearm.

I read good things about them here, they are 1st rate IMO.

you’re both funny. I watch my nephews play ice hockey, and don’t bet on Jets, Giants or Horses.

I commuted to NYC on the train for 26 years, I’ve seen too many grown men cry.

Steve showed me his large spool of tonearm wire, they have done a lot of tonearms.

I’ve only met with them 4 times, but I think I have bragging rights. Who else on Audiogon has met Steve’s wife?

She came with Steve and Ray when they visited. She’s very nice, listened with us, was interested in the sound and equipment, and she understood the work to create the big mess in the garage acquiring the LP’s far better than they did.

I brought them my old SME 3009 for a look see. I had an idea how to remove the sliding plate and apparatus below, make a simple base plate so only 1 small hole is needed to mount it. Steve liked the idea, more rigid, said he was going to change his restored 3012 mount. I saw it there, chrome plated counterweights, what a beauty.
