Has "politically correct" killed the used audio market?

Previously loved, slightly demo'ed....etc.

Gosh, when I sell the old car I should not list it as "used" ....perhaps "formerly observed", "slightly touched",  "once considered",  "only driven by a Little Old Lady from Riverside, Ca."

But thankfully no items sold are "used" any longer, really helps my faith in the market.

"Creative writing and the Internet" should be a required course for all "Semi-liberal  arts" degrees"

The FACT that MC uses Einstein as his avatar is beyond an affront to reasoned thinking.

Dogmatically preaches about whatever the latest gear that has been added to the brothel listening room - as well as whatever drivel has shown up in whatever "fact" based feed happens to flash across the computer screen

Tells you all you need to know about our compatriot MC

Dontcha think?

Or doncha?
In every med school across the world, in the graduating class, there is someone who has the worst grades, worst aptitude and abilities for a career in medicine.

You know what they call them?

Doctor.

Some Doctors opinions are important, valid and should be listened to.

Others, well not so much.

Kinda like this forum.

I've had a bit of personal experience with folks who are all in an uproar about "political correctness" and "liberal attitudes".

The ones who express how silly it is that so much care has to be applied to language and how it is used...

Well, as soon as they are spoken to around any given subject in the manner they feel they should be able to speak to someone, they get all bent out of shape. Granted, I am guilty of testing their beliefs around communication and the care that should be extended to another. All I do, however, is speak back to them the way they have spoken to me.

Hypocrisy reveals itself quite quickly and all of a sudden, the manner in which I speak, which mirrors their use of language, is a big problem and they are deeply offended.

Who cares what language is used to described something being sold.

If someone wants to wax poetic about a crappy old piece of audio gear they are trying to sell, good for them - even if it is poorly written and obviously an attempt to try to get rid of something they no longer want.

Caveat emptor...
To the covidiots above, who are effectively claiming to just let CV19 run its course.

The only reason why the numbers are such as they are is because of the lockdowns. Had they not been implemented, the numbers would be much, much worse.

Why is the US at the top of the pile with CV19?

Freedom baby. Enjoy your freedom

And I love how this is brought down to critical thinking. The ones who feel a need to project their supposed mental superiority, and who are most likely disenfranchised incomplete souls. Needing desperately to feel special, like they know the "Facts" and "Truths" because they are the only ones who are capable of this elevated thinking.

Hot newsflash, you are the ones being used by money grubbing industrialist spreading their doctrine of cash before all. Slave/Master mentality. The slaves want to be the masters. They want to do nothing, because thats what they think the masters do. Thats what the masters want you to think.

Covid has a very simple calculus, and it is exponential.

@bluemoondriver

Read over the document. It simply outlines the process by which the state run heath system will be releasing funds. It doesn’t indicate anywhere that they are going to be receiving greater funds for Covid  patients than others, simply the manner in which those funds are to be “managed”
@cd318

"UK hospitals receive a monetary bonus for every death that they mark down as being due to Covid. If that’s not an incentive to massage the figures then what is?"

Really?

Love it when people drop lines like that into a protracted rambling statement of OPINIONS...

"Influenza strangely enough seems to have stopped existing in 2020. Without any need for a vaccine!"

Really?

I recently got my flu shot, which was advocated for quite fervently by health officials in an attempt to keep the strain on the medical system a minimum in preparation for this wave we are in.

Love it when people drop lines like that into a protracted rambling statement of OPINIONS...
@mc

Well, as an X-ray tech, certainly you are far better equipped to dole out medical advice than the health officials who are entrusted with the well being of the population as a whole.

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing clearly...

(the utterly predictable response is coming in 3...2...1...)
@cd318

Bahahahaaaa

You are lost.

You do realize you are being used as a pawn by those who seek to undermine civilization for their own gains, right?

The ones who start and spread these ridiculous conspiracy theories, praying on those who are lost and looking for belonging. The ones who actually believe the nonsense started by the ones who want you to look elsewhere, this so as to not pay attention to the real problems. And to help find all the others who are lost and looking for belonging to also believe and spread the nonsense. The ones who need to feel special, and do so through conspiracy theories, because they are the only ones who understand the truth.

You should get together with MC, dawn some aluminum foil caps, go into the brothel listening room and then explain to us how the metal caps not only let you speak to demonic sex starved alien demons, but also how wearing them improves the sound of the system...
