Has anyone tried using the E 6sn7 Linlais with Schiit Freya +?

Hi All

Am curious to know if anyone of you had tried using the E 6sn7 Linlais with Schiit Freya +.  These tubes have been well reviewed and I wanted to get them. However when I went down to the store to purchase, the salesman could not sit the tube fully into the Freya socket. There was a slight gap between the socket and the tube at the base. He thus told me that the tubes couldnt fit.

However, I have encountered a local guy online who used the same tubes and said it fits with the Freya + as in the tube fully goes in and its a matter of pushing it in. I am onky using a pair of the tubes for the gain stage. 

Just wondering if any of you have used these tubes and had trouble fitting it in fully into the sockets of the Freya + or were able to fit in fully without any gaps between the socket and tubes and its a matter of pushing it in. These tubes are quite expensive, hence am seeking a second opinion. Appreciate your help .
