Has anyone tried these stunning new CPT power cord?

   Considering the many, many brands of power cords I've tried in my very well accomplished high-end system, I have never been so impacted by these Core Power Technology power cords. Within a very short period(15-20) minutes my system literally came alive. Soundstage opened wider and deeper. The background became dead silent, space between instruments and stage members were more focused and everything sounded cleaner and musical than ever. My highs had a glorious crispness and symbols shimmered. Midrange through my 2" horn became more dynamic and punchy. My 15" bass driver tightened and dug low with great control. My Rel G1 which is a fabulous sub on its own but with a CPT 150 on it is another story. Running high pass from my sub to my Audiozen Noah amplifier, music depth is just stunning. Lower end bass is authoritative and clean with solid grip and impact.
   My experience with these power cords is truly magical. The scary part of the above is I only have one 150 on my sub and one 300 from my wall to my 6 outlet bar. I still need 3 more to complete my system. I could just imagine the level after that...In closing, I cannot emphasize enough to try one of these in your system. I CANNOT and WIIL NOT take these out as they are that good. But hold your jaw, cuz what you've been listening to will just become real after Core Power Technologies.

Cheers....and let the tapping begin.......

We don’t speak his name here. No Name has not posted here since Labor Day.
I have greater confidence in receiving news of the Second Coming than anything pertaining to pronouncements from No Name.
Happy Thanksgiving.

One should not be surprised by anything in the latest CPT post, because we’ve seen No Name make similar statements in previous posts.

To wit:
1. Promise of glad tidings with another announcement of the CPT business concern sale coming to fruition.

2. Yet another apology from CPT owners. I’ve lost track of the apology account at this point. But the apology is always linked to a reminder about how many loyal CPT customers were screwed by this outfit. Nice reminder, No Name. I’m sure that promotes good will on behalf of the new ownership group (assuming one exists).

3. The second deal fell through—apparently sometime after Labor Day, as reflected by the cryptic language, “3rd time was the charm...” No Name always goes silent when these busted deals occur. In other words, No Name doesn’t let anyone know anything when relevant info becomes available.

4. Someone should inform No Name that one can’t pass off used, review samples as new, “A stock” product to customers, no matter what work is done on those samples. At this point, I doubt any warranties would ever be honored by a follow-on entity following acquisition. Of course, it’s up to the new buyers to formulate their warranty policies for old CPT customers. They might offer a limited warranty for a fee.

5. A kudos shoutout to the new ownership group and yet another promise of new products in the pipeline (e.g., Ground Zero”).

6. Wrap-up apology statement.

No Name should simply stop posting. That would be the Holiday Present we all would be thankful to receive.
Happy Black Friday!

And crickets from the CPT buyer group.

In other news of the day....
I suspect No Name will unplug from this forum. Don’t know when or how it will occur. Maybe the administrators know...(hint, hint).
Brian, as exciting as this announcement sounds, I noticed the conditional language of the first paragraph of the press release:
“EXOGAL Audio announced today that they are in the process of acquiring the Equi-Core and Deep-Core product lines from Core Power Technologies.” (Emphasis added.)

(https://www.exogal.com/images/PDFs/20181126_Press_Release_Acquiring_Equi_Core_and_Deep_Core.pdf)

So is this deal cemented or in flux?
EXOGAL wisely decided not to buy CPT. So those having disputes with CPT can freely sue CPT for their refunds.
@marqmike
Re-read above posts, beginning with the CPT post on the last page. (Short answer: Not yet)
Not much soldering is usually required for something as simple as what ozzy is describing. Daisy-chained outlets only require twist-on splice caps, as do connections to the transformer. Maybe the fuse holder requires soldering but twist-on caps might work there.
It’s likely that the sorts of post-market mods Ozzy did for his CPT 1800 would have similar benefits on other conditioners. But those Furutech GTX Nano outlets are quite expensive.
Cool, grannyring. Wasn’t sure the listed product there was rated at 600V. Thanks for confirming. Might be simpler than using solid silver wire.
OCD HiFi Guy has a set of videos about how to avoid daisy-chain wiring receptacle outlets on a power strip. I suspect a similar approach can be adapted to a conditioner. The first one below provides the intro. The second one provides details of the revised wiring scheme.

lak: OCD HiFi Guy (Mike Powell) specializes in cables and power distribution products manufacturing. He is an audio dealer for a small number of brands like Jay’s Audio, Denafrips and others.

He likes Furutech brand products. He’s fanatical about using solid, sometimes milled, silver wire and bars in his cables and plugs. Fun videos to watch if only for the entertainment value.
Trust Exogal. At least give Exogal the time to develop their trustworthiness. It will likely take several weeks, if not months, to complete their deal with CPT and move toward releasing the product designs under their own brand.
@alexberger:
Bill sells a lot of his DIY products under his Acoustic BBQ brand on the market side of the site. His power cable is listed there.
Dan
@twoleftears. That is part of the confusion. I flagged in my mind the polycast product but then later ordered the oil impregnated cotton product.

It was only when Bill sent me a couple pics of his duplex outlet wiring scheme did I realize I might have mistakenly ordered the wrong wire. His pics showed a shiny black plastic wrap as the hook-up wire on the AC outlets. My wire, which was still in the bag from Parts Connexion, was a brown cloth wrap.

Bill did tell me that the incorrect wire is perfect as a great speaker cable wire. I’ve got so many speaker cables that I’m not sure I need to make another set. 😂
@t_ramey:
Don’t repeat my mistake and order the more expensive 12 gauge wire in the oil cotton wrap as an AC hook-up wire. You want the cheaper 600V-12 gauge wire in the polycast wrap if you intend to use the wire in an AC hook-up configuration.

(Even the Parts Connexion description points this out. See https://www.partsconnexion.com/product47657.html

The more expensive oil cotton wrap wire would be a fire hazard in an AC hook-up implementation. That was the advice I got from Bill (grannyring).
Dan
t_ramey, I would suggest you contact the Exogal folks to see where the deal with CPT now stands. Then I would suggest you contact CPT about follow-up if the deal is completed.
chazzzy007, you are correct. CPT is responsible for refunds regardless. My point is that some of the funding for those refunds likely derives from proceeds CPT acquires from closure of the Exogal deal.
Lol. Another buyer of CPT. Did not see that coming after the ExoGal announcement.
+1, underwoodwally. Seem like a straight shooter. Something this thread desperately needed from a product supplier.
Walter, will you be offering your power conditioners here on the market site or via an independent URL/website?
AMG, you’re the patron saint of patience. Good luck, god bless, and see you around the forum.
skytop: The OP opens this thread admittedly with a lot of hyperbole. Some might call it clickbait (“stunning” in the OP title). But regardless of his motivations, you are free to comment about the original post as you wish. It would be more helpful if you focused on the product rather than the OP’s commentary, as that will generate more discussion in this thread.

bander: Relax...not everyone has an ax to grind. I understand your perspective on this. But everyone would benefit from the same advice.
Looks like Core Power Technology A/V (CPT assets under Walter’s new company name) will be at APOXNA 2019 next week. Room 478 (CPT A/V, Emerald Physics, and LSA).

So I attended AXPONA 2019 on Friday morning. I visited with Walter in his exhibition room at the show.

CORE POWER TECHNOLOGIES A/V, EMERALD PHYSICS AND LIVING SYSTEMS AUDIO (Room 478): So this was another treat, largely for the A’gon Forum members. A production version of the CPT Deep Core product was showcased, along with the CPT 1800 conditioner. The small LSA monitors presented an impressive 35 Hz frequency response (shaking the walls) owing to a patented, double magnet driver design that enables twice the excursion of a typical driver.
I’ll post pics of the Deep=Core spec sheet when I get a chance. Walter is offering AXPONA special discounts.

I thanked Walter for stepping into the void to acquire the CPT assets, citing y’all here on this thread. The new entity is called CPT A/V.
Based upon what I heard is the current design of the CPT-1800, I would not recommend it. The duplex outlets remained serially connected (daisy-chained).
