The JC1 is quite a bit better sounding than the A23 and A21, with greater rhythm and pace, for example. Some people find it sounds a bit better on the balanced input.
I have a buddy who has an A23 and P3. I run JC1s and I think that the character of the sound is similar to the A23. I have not heard the A21 but I would bet it is similar. Im not familiar with your speakers but if you like the A21 you will probably get more of what you like with the JC1s. Hope that helps.
