Has Anyone Heard the new Modwright Power Supply?

According to the Modwright site, there is an upgrade available for the outboard power supply that is used on the Modwright players. The major change is a switch to tube rectification using a 5AR4 diode. The power supply is available for $500 or as a $400 mod to existing units. Any comments? It's also noteworthy that Dan now has a stand-alone phono stage and a balanced preamp in his growing line of manufactured products.

There was a thread on that already here. Overwhelmingly positive by all accounts. Waiting on the new SWLP myself.
Dan's newest linestage, his LS 36.5 is THE one to wait for (but you'll need the outboard phono). The new one debuts at CES and I hope to have one of the first units after the debut. It is balanced, has his new proprietary Modwright caps, is tube-rectified (of course) and has things like invert polarity and HT bypass controllable from the remote. Yes! I own the SWL and have owned his Platinum 999ES and now the max'd out 3910. The new PS for the 3910 is in my immediate future (I need to send in the 3910 for a tweak after he gets back from CES).
