Has anyone heard the Canary Audio C1600 Reference Preamp?

I know Canary Audio makes good products, but I have only seen one review of this preamp and it was part of a system review.  A fair number of used Canary preamps (800 and 1600) are showing up for sale online so I wonder if owners are dissatisfied.  Thanks!
