Has Anyone Elevated the Totem Sttafs?

I want to hear from other Totem Sttaf owners regarding their experimentation with elevating Totem Sttaf speakers. Did you feel they improved the sound quality by keeping the drivers at ear level? Totem Acoustics recommends that the Sttafs be positioned at ground level. What has your experience been under both circumstances? Right now, I have mine elevated one foot off the floor which syncs the drivers at ear level for me. Thanks!
