I am having some hum in my amp now when we turn the Christmas tree on !!!!, so ... tree or music ?????

Check your AC line or try other outlet should be my first step in your case.

Yes Ive noticed some strange Hums , seemed to coincide with everyone putting up their Christmas lights , Humbug !

have not used the PS Audio, but I have used The Ah Offsett killer. My guess is The PS Audio will work .

It's expensive, and it's extremely specialized, but I have found that the Dickens HumEradicator solves the xmas tree lites problem. Has to be shipped from England, so probably won't help you this year. Be warned: it ruins the sound of any system when the xmas lites are not on. Hope this Helps.

One item that works well is the Granite Audio (Ground Zero) and there are a few up for sale here on A'gon.
