I love ❤️ me some Harbeths (in case you can’t tell by my name on here) Those were the beautiful British speakers that finally got me away from electrostatics.
I love my HL5 plus & then I heard the 40.2’s and they are final stop end of the line speakers imho. I have them In a fairly small room at the moment, and they do fine as they have such a nice soundstage I’m very happy with them at low levels, and they don’t get rumbly because I’m using a Rel carbon fiber sub with them.(sometimes more is less As counterintuitive as it might seem.) but if the 40’s didn’t show up from a friend of mine. I would’ve been happy with the 5’s for years to come.enjoy !
