Hacking the Elac Discovery Server to use its Roon Essential UI, BYPASSING its own player?
I would want to keep the excellent Roon control functions (via my tablet) and send the audio stream to some other player/renderer/DAC.
I already send the audio out to my external DAC. The resulting SQ is pretty good, but I'm looking for something even better. I know that a DAC upgrade would be a partial solution, but I really don't want this Elac "appliance" to end up as a doorstop...
