Great Cables ... That Get Little Attention

I have had the HiDiamond XLR 2 interconnects in my system for 2 days. They are simply stunning. I have never heard any other interconnects that do what the HiDiamonds do to bring the emotion and aliveness into my system -- or any other system I have ever auditioned over the years. Words cannot do justice to these interconnects -- right out of the box without break-in.

HiDiamond is a company that gets little attention. They are an Italian company so this is understandable. Have you had a similar experience with unsung cables from an obscure company?

Please note I am not in the audio business and have no association with any audio company -- other than being a customer.

I had contacted Worldwide Wholesales and was talking to a fellow by the name of Bob Neill about buying the USB cable. Then, because of this forum, I contacted Tailored Tech. and told him I would rather buy from him as I could use my cc and not have to send international money order or whatever WW wanted. He sent me a few emails about the price I was quoted from WW, how to pay, and what to do. Then suddenly he emailed me and told me he couldn't sell them to me and to disregard his emails, etc. I emailed and told him that was a strange way to do business and they should take them off of their website if they couldn't sell them. I tried to contact WW again but they haven't responded to my email. Very strange. I don't think I want to do business with this company. They either don't know how to conduct business or their's something shady going on. Hopefully, it's just poor business procedures.
I just got an email from Bob Neill at WW and he said he had emailed me a number of times telling me that they don't sell cables outside of California through Tailored Tech. It's odd that I got the other emails they sent and don't seem to have a problem with my other emails, but I will give them the benefit of the doubt and believe them that they sent they did send me the emails and I never got them. As far as the email above that they said they sent, I did not get that one. Sabai, I think you should know a little more about the situation before you tell me basically that I'm lying. What I find odd about this situation is that Tailored Tech. said they would be glad to sell me the cables, and after a few emails about how to do it and needing my address, etc., they emailed me and said they cannot sell them to me, to disregard all emails that were sent back and forth. I wrote him that I thought it was a strange way to do business and they need to take the product off their website if they can't sell me these. He wrote me back that he was considering all options and that's the last I heard from T.T. Then I proceeded to write to WW and told him what happened with T. T. and that I thought it was a strange way to do business. I never heard from WW again until after I posted on this site. I do not have a paypal account, that's why I wanted to buy from the U.S., I assumed you could just use a credit card. Anyway, I'm sure WW is a legitimate business and they are above board. I just think Tailored Tech. should have known they couldn't sell out of California or at least posted it on their website.
I just got an email from Bob at WW and he is going to send me a cable. He is trying to rectify this situation and is very concerned about custumer service and is trying to do what's right. I think the whole thing stems from lack of communication, not receiving my emails from them, and, as I stated earlier, will give them the benefit of the doubt. Bob seems to be a very forthright person and I think about it. So anybody wanting to do business with them shouldn't worry about it, I think they are a legitimate business and will take care of customers just fine. I still think Tailored Tech. should post on their website though about not selling to anybody except California, I still don't understand that but it's their option to sell where they want.
Some of my response was cut out of the above post, I don't know what happened, it must have been me!! Anyway, I don't think anybody needs to worry about doing business with this company, I'm sure they're just fine, and after I receive the cables, I will let everyone know how they sound. Sandra
Hi Musically, I do think their cables are reasonably priced, that's why I became interested in them. Just look at some of the other cable companies prices. There are cheaper ones of course, I'm using my printer cable right now and it sounds fine. That's why I'm anxious to get the cable, I will try it and compare with my cheap printer cable.
Bob at WW quoted me a price and when I contacted TT, Eric (at TT) asked me how much I was quoted. I told him but did wonder what he would have charged me if I hadn't told him. Anyway, I do think most of my problem with them stemmed from miscommunication, at least on WW's part. Not sure why TT can't sell anywhere but California, last time I checked it was still one of our states. Sometimes things just happen so let's all give them the benefit of the doubt as they really seem to care about customer service. I'll be getting the USB cable in about a week and will report back my views. Sandra
