The SE beats it hands down, though I never tried the Creek with the upgraded power supply.... Better dynamics, better focus and detail of instruments, a little less subtractive in the midrange. Not a giant killer by any means, but musical and enjoyable. FYI, I use it with a Music Hall MMF-5. My 2 non-cents :-)
