Getting most out of C1s

Recently picked up a pair of used Dynaudio C1s. Running them with a Mac 352. I have them about 48 inches from back wall, 55 inches from side, 7.5 feet apart and 8.5 feet to listener (from front of speakers).

Love the soundstage, etc. but the voices for some reason dont come close to the rest of the experience. I have them toed in SLIGHTLY.

Any C1 owners with some tips to maximize? Thanks in advance.
