General opinions on E.A.R. Disc Master

I've become really interested in Tim de Paravicini's work lately and his approach to music reproduction - particularly when it comes to amplifiers and pre-amps. Turntable design, however, is not something I have a great deal of knowledge about. I'm wondering if anyone who has owned, or has had experience with, the E.A.R. disc master would mind relating their impressions of it.

What are its sonic qualities? If anyone could speak to the technical merits/shortcomings of its design, that would be great too.

Thanks.
