Game Changing Tweak

I bought a pair of electrical devices called Electraclear from a company called AddPowr. They're simply plugged into an electrical outlet that's shared by your system. I paid under $300 for them and they've boosted my system's fidelity dramatically. In the 1800's,  a physicist and mathematician, Joseph Fourier, delved into the science of harmonics, and now the founder of AddPowr used these equations to increase the signal to noise ratio. (more signal=less noise) His devices act as harmonic resonators. He worked for a high-end audio cable company before focusing on this new range of products.
   I thought that when I first received the Electraclears, the difference would be subtle. To my surprise and delight, it was a stunning change. I was hearing music from the inside out. Cleaner, more dynamic, and a far greater and noticeable improvement than my power conditioner produces.
   I love finding inexpensive audio devices that work. The company makes other products, but I'd recommend a pair of Electraclears to start.

$300 is a relatively small price to pay to make a discernible, appreciable improvement in your audio system. Those of you who dismiss AddPowr products
out of hand are nervous about spending that sum because either you don't have the money or you're prone to an automatic self-righteous reaction toward anyone who claims to have invented something new. It smacks of the Inquisition. How can you make such pronouncements without first testing the product in question? I'm sure your money would be refunded by the company if you're disappointed with the results.  If you have ever visited an audio show, you can come in contact with electrical engineers who were involved in military projects like the development of the AWACS system or have worked for NASA.  Advancements in technology are ongoing, especially in electronics. To deny that is tantamount to burying your head in the sand. If you think interconnects from BestBuy are as good as any other, then these products are not for you.
@tuberollin

That version is an earlier one. I have the latest, carbon fiber cylinder that only takes up the space of one outlet, not covering the second
one in the duplex. It's twice as strong as the original, from what I'm told. I moved one Electraclear this morning to the top outlet of the duplex and my power conditioner is in the bottom outlet of the same duplex. More pronounced effect than when it was in a power strip.
I think it's the ideal configuration. If I had a quad outlet, I could fit two Electraclears and the power conditioner together. Might wind up installing a hospital grade quad outlet.
"Said rooms almost universally have the most gawd awful sonics."   That's the dumbest post I have yet to read here. You're a complete ignoramus to make a statement like that. If you can't afford the price of a ticket to an audio show, then you certainly can't test drive anything in the audio market even with a money back guarantee. Save up some money from your newspaper route, buy the units and come back here informed. Anything other than that is juvenile.

Damping noise by elevating signal seems as important as damping vibration. In fact, damping noise at the source, which is the electrical supply, may be more noticeable than preventing micro vibrations that occur after the fact.

My sentiments exactly. BTW, my analog has benefited as well. I think it's apt to say the Electraclears "purify" sound. It's subjective, but I'm
enjoying it.
There’s an account of an applicant for an opening in Thomas Edison’s research lab. Edison himself conducted the interview over a bowl of soup during lunch. The job candidate proceeded to add salt to his soup without tasting it first. He did not get the job.
Thanks, Spenav! My favorite music listening experience is the live concert. Now that it's on hold due to the pandemic, my audio system is a consolation. If I can get close to the "absolute sound" of live music, I'm willing to wait until the virus passes. What other choice does one have?  I'm truly grateful for innovations that improve on my listening pleasure. Thanks again for the encouragement.

A simpler solution to the controversy is for anyone on this forum to call the company and confirm a money back guarantee from AddPowr. Then you, trusting your own ears, can decide for yourself whether to keep or return the Electraclears. I was told by the company that I could return them for a full refund. I'm keeping them.

A dose of skepticism is healthy and even constructive. You're just a blowhard. The products we're discussing were developed over years of sophisticated research, using all of the instruments that  meter/measure electrical signal.  ADDPowr's approach asks "What has been missed?" in examining the properties of electricity. Turns out that a lot has been overlooked and more insight into its mysteries are sure to come. Your posturing as a debunker is a weak cover for your technical ignorance, and I would wager that you don't have the expertise or talent to design anything of worth.
  I was introduced to ADDPowr by an audiophile who owns the Sorcer by ADDPowr and considers it an essential component in his system. He's set up award winning rooms at audio shows for years.   I trust his audio opinion over yours a thousandfold.
@ieales
The audiophile I referred to would use top of the line Ortofon and Miyajima cartridges, some retailing for $12,000, the top of the line VPI turntables, and high end speakers in the $40,000 range. Now price doesn't necessarily confer quality, but he's been in the audio business for forty years. Too bad you missed his rooms, it was an education. I also know what live music is, having gone to concerts at Carnegie Hall, Weill Recital Hall, and Zankel Hall for decades. With your technical background, you ought to already know what ADDPowr is doing or simply ask them for the information you need instead of crowing "FAKE" like a jealous has-been.

Right between the eyes, millercarbon- Bravo! I'm the OP on this thread and have encountered an absurd amount of scorn from the hyenas that lurk on this forum . When they take their self-righteous 'science and measurements' posture, my immediate thought is that they can't hear or experience music. It's also likely that they have mediocre rigs that won't improve with anything except a complete overhaul. When I began a thread about SR fuses, I really kicked a hornet's nest. It's a shame because the point of this forum is to SHARE experience with your fellow audiophile, who may benefit from your results. Also, science is a terrible example of established knowledge- just look at the recent astonishing revelations of recent advances in quantum theory. Nothing is fixed in science or in audio.
Every week, new advances in science and technology occur. New meta materials and processes are discovered that will wend there way into audio products. Here's one such process that may have some use for us:
" Porous nanostructured microspheres with the composition Cu0.4Zn0.6Fe2O4, that we have extracted, used as anode material provide three times higher capacity than the batteries existing on market. Besides, it allows for an increase in the number of charge-discharge cycles by 5 times compared to other promising alternatives to graphite."
  This deposition process will improve lithium -ion batteries, but imagine what it might offer when applied to audio electronics. The possibilities are without limit...
I NEVER dismiss anything out of hand, because I've experienced too much that defies comprehension with a conventional perspective. The backbone of this country was its backyard tinkerers, so I hope one day you can divulge your successes. Hearing music at its pinnacle is a great privilege and pleasure.

I’m the OP of this thread. Congratulations on thinking for yourself and trusting your own ears. You’ve corroborated my own experience that AddPowr’s products are a powerful addition to ANY audio system. I also wrote a follow-up about plugging them into an isolation transformer along with a power conditioner so that every component downstream of the isolation transformer is treated to the same miraculous improvement. My ElectraClears were the original iteration of the technology and your Eau4’s are a doubling of the ElectraClear’s effect, so you did well.
   Why this obsession with the seemingly infinite ways to improve one’s system?
Psychologically, I’m creating a private cocoon of aural pleasure that blocks the incessant and irritating intrusion of the outside world. A great sound system is an aural womb, and harkens back to the most perfect and accommodating environment one has ever known- floating in a bath of amniotic fluid. AddPowr’s devices bring you back there.
