Gabriel Gold IC's are they really this good?

Hi-
Any one else out there using these Gabriel Gold IC's?
I need to know if it is me or if anyone else finds them as good as me.
I bought a pair on auction a while back and compared them to my Stealth cables.
After about a week of going back and forth I found the Gabriel Golds to have bettered my Stealths and bought more.
Is it me?
Just wondering what some other folks who bought them think of them.
Thanks for the input.

I picked up a pair of the Revelation interconnects and I could not believe what I heard.
Natural timbre, detail with layers and layers of retrieval.
These cables are truer to the music than any other cable that I have ever heard.
In my opinion the Eichmann connector is one of,if not the best out there. It does not interfere with the cable. The less interaction the better. Some people will pay big dollars for audio jewelry that looks beefy and sounds like @#$%.
I've heard some good things about Virtual Dynamics and Jade. Some interesting comparisons are sure to come in the future it seems
I found quite the opposite.I had a chance to listen to the Jade Hybrid and the KCI and prefer the Gabriel Gold interconnects.Although the Jade and the KCI are great sounding cables they have their own distinct colorations.
Granted some systems need cables that color or tone things in one way or another.I myself believe a cable should maintain the sonic purity of the signal with minimal degradation. And we all know that the degradation of the signal is what creates the coloration.I have only tried the Revelation and Extreme and prefer the Revelation. If what they say about Rapture interconnects
is accurate it will make all comparisons a non-issue .
I agree Bob there are far too many cables out there that are overly detailed with trumped up bass. That is why so many people switch out a component and then have to switch out a cable too.The one thing I noticed and seems to be fact is the synergy of the Gabriel Golds, they do the same thing in every system. They provide you with natural musical character. This sounds likes a simple task but it definately is the toughest thing to achieve from a cable.
rja The interconnects have been out longer than the speaker wire and ac cords so there are probably not as many spaeker wire sets out there yet.Plus I don't think I've everseen the speaker wire or ac cords up for auction yet.
Hopefully there will be some in the future and maybe a deal or two for us.
I believe Steve will be adjusting his burn-in time estimate
for the Gabriel Gold Revelations.
The cables really take about 250-300 to fully break-in.
The cables do experience sonic changes at about 40/100 and 150,however at about 300 hours you have EUPHORIA
solid points made by jmcgrogan.
I should have mentioned in my thread that although the Gabriels are my preference both sonically and asthetically, all the cables mentioned by jmcgrogan outperformed the multi-dollar Siltech,Nordost,Transparent, etc at more realistic pricing designed by people with passion and knowledge.

BTW-I recently sold a pair of Gabriel Revelations that I bought used and am putting my pennies together towards a pair of Raptures.

Will report back at appropriate time.
bravo!!!I applaud the designer that evolves and does not rest upon his previous accomplishments
bob they are non directional but if they are run in one direction for an extended period I believe they essentially become directional.I use the Heatshrink labels as my direction and always run them the same way.
I found this to be true when I was also using Cardas Golden Reference. They eventually become directional.
It's not like they don't sound awesome if I were to spin them around. They most likely adapt which ever way you hook them up

always have to work within the budget jc. As you know the mk 2 is a very special cable especially when compared with the higher priced stuff out there.Glory is right the rapture is much better but even the original Revs have replaced some "big time" cables .I was using a highly regarded cable that has an incredible amount of discussion here on agon and found the revs to be on par with. I find the mk2s to be better yet.If you can swing a pair of rev mk 2s go for it.If your first pair worked well than a second pair may even add more. You can probably trade up in the future anyway.
