I have tried six different fuses, including some that were claimed to not be directional. I have long used the IsoClean fuses as the best I have heard. No longer! I just got two 10 amp slow-blows WiFi Tuning Supreme fuses that really cost too much but do make a major difference in my sound. I still don't understand how a fuse or its direction can alter sound reproduction for the better, but they do and the Supreme is indeed! I hear more detail in the recordings giving me a more holographic image. I also hear more of the top and bottom ends. If only you could buy them for a couple of bucks each.
Geoff, in defense of Al, his "idle speculation" comes from the comfort of a Wassily B3, not a Barco Lounger (Barcalounger, correct name). So there! Al, keep the idle speculation coming! :)
Bryon, I applaud your efforts in seeking self-help by going so far as to marry a mental health professional. If that didn't do it you may be beyond hope, my friend.
I suspect along with the suggestion of a dedicated room, diffusion panels, etc would be substituted for nice full soft rubber walls. The best part is that you would get special audiophile listening attire... those nice white jackets that tie in the back..... oh, she's good alright!
Shamanjr, fuses are meant to blow when something is not correct in the system. You could consult Jerry @ Audio Magic before blasting the product twice.
