Furutech Flux50 NCF shoutout

Inserting the above in the power supply feeding digital components or amplifiers is a major upgrade no matter the quality of the power cable employed. I use Nordost Valhalla on digital and Acoustic Revive reference on the power amplifier and in both instances the insertion resulted in substantially improved sounstaging and instrument separations. Try it or you won’t know what your system is capable of.

I bought an AliExpress version having very good results with the NCF cables.

Well, the construction of the connection point at the filter side failed to clamp the cable enough to secure the cable against being pulled out . The connections were hot glued in place over the cable, so over a period of time and flexing of the cable and filter, the connection would break exposing live wires to short against the sleeve.

The filter itself looks like an average classic T filter of chokes and caps, so nothing really stellar there, I would conclude the good results acoustically would be due to the cable, but it's very short, some 6" or so, would that make a difference?

Currently both filters are stored, maybe one day will try and find a rubber clamp, so it can hold the cable in place.
