From floorstanders to standpoints? Who's done it?

Looking at going from Dynaudio Excite X34 to the Contour 20.

I love filling a room with a good floorstander, but I always find myself drawn back to standmounts.

anyone else do this? Opinions on my speaker move?

feeding 125 watts of high current SimAudio power that doubles into 4 ohms.
