Fourier Components Panthere value

Looking to get a sense of what these are worth. My local dealer has a one owner set that's in prestine condition one owner, Black face plates and the silver face plates, We've haggled to 3k for the set. I've seen sets sell most recently at $1800.00 to 2k history and condition unknown(Ebay). This set the dealer sold new and the owner only used them as back up amps when his super mega bucks amps were in for service so the history of these are known. But is knowing the history along with the extra face plates worth the extra $1000.00 bucks? Looking for feed back from folks with experiance with these amps. I know some say they were problematic and other's have said they had no issues with them. The dealer has a in house service dept. So maintaining them would'nt be an issue.
