Fosgate vs Allnic 1201?

I'm looking to expand and I'm in need of another phono stage.
I'm sort of looking at these two, and maybe the LKV 2-SB, and the Sutherland 20/20 as solid state alternatives.
Anyone compared the Fosgate vs the Allnic 1201?
This is for a second (third?)system, so I'd like to keep the price in this range, though I did consider a used Rhea.
I like big open midrange and am willing to live with a more romantic sound (hence the tubes listed first)vs a dry analytical sound.

TIA

Thanks Dhcod,
I've heard some Herron gear before that sounded really nice, though not the phono stages. I know the VTPH-2 gets some rave reviews here too, and I might have put it on my list, except the hardest thing to do seems to be pairing one's list down from all of the choices that are out there.
If you want to save money and get very close to the Allnic, yesterday there was a Herron VTPH-1 MC listed. If you can get that for 1100 to 1250, you are 95% to Allnic for a third of the price. Not connected to the auction, just a happy owner of the Herron.
