I've never seen him live, to my regret. One of my all time favorite musicians, though. I think my favorite group of his was the one on teh album Showtime.

In case you haven't seen this:

Glad you enjoyed it. You tube has some awful dreck but also many treasures.
Here's another from British TV:

I’ve seen him just once, as a solo act at the Crest Theater in Sacramento. Great musician and as it turned out, a great entertainer. A thoroughly enjoyable show, on all levels.

@bdp24

 During Ry’s guitar solo in the song I felt like time had stopped.

Well, it’s pretty great on the record, so I have no difficulty believing you!

@tooblue

Will look those up. Thanks!

@bigtwin

I saw her in ’76 and then, The Hot Band with Rodney doing all the lead vocals, at the Bluebird Cafe a few years later, with both F. Reckard and A. Lee on guitar. these gigs were in Santa Barbara, which was a music lover’s paradise in the 70’s.

You know the saying: "There are only two kinds of men in this world; those who are in love with EmmyLou and those who've yet to discover her".   ;o)

@slaw

Yeah. I'm astonished such artists are still able to tour, given the prices.
