Focal 726v upgrade over Monitor Audio RS 6 ???

I have a pair of Monitor Audio RS6 that I like...they seem to do everything well, yet I have obtained a case up upgrade-itis. I can get a very good deal on the Focal 726v and they seem to get very favourable reviews. An audiophile friend of mine seems to think they will be a step about the Monitor Audio's ? Any thoughts ? I use Bryston amplification and listen mostly to rock and classic rock. Use them for HT as well about 20% of the time
