A friend told me he was surprised and astounded how good the 1038s sounded at a dealer, especially the tweeter. Much better than the Diablo Utopias he said, or others with Ribbon or Diamond tweeters. Any comments would be welcome. Thanks.
They are very good speakers for their price but they are not better than the Diablo in terms of transparency and soundstage. Tweeter is really good. Some prefer the 1028 to the 1038 so try that also.
