Flowers for Blossom

Was sad to read today that Blossom Dearie has passed away at the ripe old age of 82. She could sell a song with the best of them.

For me she epitomized the coolest of the cool - quirky voice, unique interpretations and delivery of many of the great standards and some no one else does, hip minimalist piano.
