Fixing the B&W 802 Speakers

I wrote an article about the choices and challenges in upgrading crossovers, using the 802 series speakers as examples of when a complete re-think can be done to radically change the sound of the original speakers.

Should anyone take this approach? You tell me. I’m on the fence. On the one hand why buy a legendary speaker if you are going to rip the soul out of it. It’s like when California had a cottage industry of ripping out 12 cylinder engines from Jaguars to keep them running. Ouch! 

On the other hand, the work Petr and Troels have done show hos much more neutral the 802s can be with effort.
