Favorite Guitar Solo

What is your favorite guitar solo? The one that bypasses your cerebral cortex? The one that best hits your emotional center? Any genre. Any period. Any length. A million notes. Or just one note. My choice? Eric Clapton’s solo in "Sleepy Time Time" from the Fresh Cream album. Simplicity. Emotional ecstasy. Tone.

I love many David Gilmour's solos.   Since it has been suggested many times already in this post.  I'm going to go with the guitar solo in one of my favorite Rod Stewart's songs:

I was only Joking.

According to wikipedia,  it was played by an English guitarist named Jim Cregan
