I prefer sales with "checked out" equipment.
Paperwork is not as important as a direct correspondence with the manufacturer. Well worth the piece of mind IMO.
- Get the serial number of the unit that is for sale.
- Get the name of the seller.
- Call/email the manufacturer to verify what the seller is saying.
- Expect to pay a little more.
