Excess speaker wire

New member here. I saw some posts on not coiling excess speaker but is there any opinion on running the excess length in a figure of 8? i have my hi fi rack in such a position that it is placed much closer to one speaker.

They are coiled from the outside to the inside. The center is then secured to the speaker and never touches itself. The cable is off the ground for static discharge/vibration. Looks like a coiled and ready to strike snake. Ready to be plugged into the speaker.. The fangs are Neg/pos terminals.. QUIET as a mouse.. NO noise... Routing is the key to a ZERO floor noise..
