Ever herd of Gray turntables?

I just inherited a vintage Gray turntable. Looks quite nice but I don't know anything about it.

Can anyone help me with it regarding the brand's pedigree, history, etc.? I can't test it because someone cut the power and R/L cables.

I don't plan to keep it and will either try to sell it or donate/trash it depending on it's value.

Thank you very much for the information. It's quite helpful althougn mine is an updated version of those pictured - i.e. not as basic with improved arm, platter, plinth and belt-driven. Probably designed for the home market.
