I have the X-03SE; excellent player that leans to neutral. Have listened to the Ayon 5s and it is a more musical, full bodied sound. I did hear it in an Audio Pax system, all tube and that may have helped! I bought Esoteric with idea they will service the transport longer.
Esoteric vs. Ayon?
Is there anyone out there who has heard both the Esoteric X03 SE and the Ayon 2s cd players? Please weigh in. Thank you.
