Planed obsolescence seems modern audios not built to last. Much can not be properly repaired and is designed to be binned not rebuilt.
Epos speakers - no longevity?
I have recently had an Epos M Sub turn into a paperweight and a pair of Epic 5’s start squeaking on lows. Gently used - low hours - low volumes — Cambridge Audio 840A V2, Cambridge Audio DAC, Cambridge Audio CD. Jazz/classical. They are by no means new but I am shocked at two failures on light duty. Is this common? Great while they worked - garbage now - look brand new. Curious if others have had similar experiences.
