Emerald Physics KC11 or Goldenar Triton 5?

Looking for a speaker in the $2K range. I've read great things about both of these loudspeakers. I have a modest back end of Peachtree electronics preamp/dac and their class D amplifier which I think sound decent for the $$.

Would appreciate feedback from anyone with experience with either or both of these speakers. Comments on any alternatives to these two that are worth considering would be welcome as well.
