EMC 24/192 or Mark Levinson 39.

I AM LOOKING AT LISTNING TO THE EMC 24/192 AND THE ML 39
I HAVE A GRYPHON TABO AMP AND WILSON ACT 1 SPEAKERS,
AND NBS CABLES EANY ADVICE.

I think it sounds very good - he had a problem with that thin drawer mechanism and had to send it in. Check them out and buy the one you think sounds better. The 39 can be used without a preamp

However, if you're talking about the 390S (current model or 39 can be upgraded), now you've got a much closer comparison sonically. The 390S (or 39) of course have feature advantages (built in pre-amp with volume and balance, phase inversion, digital inputs and outputs, etc.).
