Recently purchased Omega 100 and find the quality good. Mainly using it to convert vinyl to digital. Linked to Celestion speakers and sound quality is excellent. Slight problem with the belt slipping off if 45rpm selected. Cannot find anything about it on the internet, so would like feedback from other owners.
Elipson turntable opinions?
No opinions listed here so I'll ask. Any opinions on Elipson turntables? Looking at either an Alpha 100 or Omega 100 (~$100 difference in price). Both come with the same Ortofon cartridge.
My usage is rather limited and will be for the ~70-90 LPs I have (more on another continent but that's a different story), of which I actually have the.CD versions for quite a few.
Equipment to be used is to a Counterpoint SA-7.1 pre-amp (so it has RIAA input so I don't need the RIAA/BT/USB versions of the above TTs) going to a pair of Counterpoint SA-12/100 UG'd to MP-something monoblocs and Magnepan IIB speakers (all this stuff is over 30 years old).
