Can anyone direct me to a tecnician in the New York City/New Jersey area who can clean and check out my 15 year old Acoustat 1+1 speakers which are sounding a little tired these days. Thanks.

Vtvu is quite correct -- Bill is definitely THE MAN for the job. He has experience with Acoustats and owns a pair of tricked-out 1 + 1s with Maggie ribbon tweeters (in addition to a wonderful pair of Infinity IRSes, which he totally revamped and refinished -- my God, he does some fine work!).
