Is there a EL34 tube monoblocks that doubles power at 4 ohms? I currently have AES six pacs, which I love but I also heard they are still 50 wpc at 4 ohms. Just trying to see what the alternative is. I am running maggie 12s.
Tube amps with output transformers have taps for correct connection to your speaker each tap will put out the same power. Good tube amps have large and stiff power supplies so the doubling is not really necessary. Alan
