You also might try the Shanguang Treasure 6CA7's. I used them in a VTL ST-85 and they are outstanding but they are pricy. If you want to go cheap try the 6P3S-E from Jim McShane. I like these better than any EL-34. Bigger sounding with better dynamics and bottom end. Really special for only $50 a quad set. I have not heard the EH or Gold Lion tubes. Have fun
