ECH80 / 6BL8 Tube Recommendations

I build hybrid power amplifiers using this tube (one per channel) and so far have tried RCA, Amperex Bugle Boy, Motorola Golden and Phillips Miniwatt.  The RCA sound is smooth and sweet especially in the mid-range, the Bugle Boys sound IMO just OK, nothing special, the Motorola provide a little more detail than the RCA and on some recordings like stand up bass, they sound really good where you can almost hear the fingers plucking the strings, the Phillips are sweet, musical and very balanced.  Anyone have more input or other suggestions?  I was also looking at SQ labeled tubes but they are a little more expensive just to buy a pair to see how they sound.
