Earthquake vs. Mcintosh

Guys,

Couple questions. I currently have a Earthquake Cinenova Grande 7BR(1000w per channel) amp that I am using to run my B&W 603 series front stage. I am looking at the Mcintosh MC207 to replace. Do you think I will notice a difference between the two amps? Also, is there a noticeable difference in bi-amping the speakers(only the Front/Center)?
