I have a Pioneer dv-09. It has a separate pcm output (always active)Pushing play or select gets the music.Also tract advance direct. The newer players; yes a display is a must.
DVD Audio for 2-channel systems???
Has anyone tried this for a 2-channel system? I am using a Marantz DV18 for a transport, Pass Labs x150 amp, Monarchy Audio MC22 DAC, and paradigm reference studio 60's. Does anyone know if the sound quality will be greatly improved or not using DVD Audio (DTS) vs regular CD? The manufacturers websites that I looked at only talk about home theater. Thanks!!
