Dunlavy vs JM Lab

I'm thinking about taking the plunge and upgrading my speakers. I'm considering the SC V or VI versus maybe the Mezzo Utopia or Utopia. I'll have to buy used if I go the upper echilon. I'll have the opportunity to demo the DALs but not JMLs. Anyone out there with experience comparing the two please shed some insight. Thanks

Thanks for your attention and detailed explanations of the various points. To answer your question, it will be primarily be a two-channel system with some occasional double duty. I will be driving them with the Classe's. My room dimensions are currently 19' by 23'.
