Doug Schroeder Method, Double ic

I think this topic deserves its own thread , where use double ic through y adapters , from source to preamp, Can’t connect it from Preamp to Amp...For me the result is huge, I can’t go back to single ic....

Does multiple parallel transmission lines exist as a cable, of any kind? is there a a history in this area?

This is apparently a nordost cable, in this image.

The idea of parallel transmission lines is as old as the transmission line idea itself.
The trick is.... can it be made to work. It depends. On a lot of things.
Conventional aspects also play in, if you calculate it out, the core waveguide material vs surrounding field space is not a linear equation ---as one adds conductors. WRT to how the physics of complex electrical function deals with it, that is.

Sadly, it’s not that simple either... as the rest of the complexities can and does create exceptions to that rule unless the experiment is tightly controlled and delinted well enough. Ye olde "resolution and quality of the answer can only equal the definition and quality of the question" - kinda thing
I’d personally say to go from cd or source, to preamp.

This way the loading is stable and assured, instead of impedance and load both shifting every time you change the potentiometer level. And, to be entering into a power amp directly where full gain is always applied........egads! It's like hunting for a uncomplimentary resonance pattern - that blows stuff up. Sooner or later....you'll get there. It's still very much a maybe, but the odds are too high for me....

A recipe for disaster, it could be... pre to power is to be avoided, relatively speaking. A personal choice. But a sensible one.
I’m not sure the GCII is burned in yet..and, importantly... do not burn it in with any form of burn in hardware. Do. not.

It takes a good 100 hrs to burn in. Burn it in via listening at line levels.

We do indeed have regular GC Ultra RCA cables, yes.

Advertising costs on the audiogon forum ----regardless if the item sells or not.

So ....we simply do not list all of the seven different versions of RCA cables we sell, the two new Balanced cables, the digital cables (AES & RCA), nor the two speaker cables.
Plenty of atoms in the universe, let's tie them all together, in parallel!
Oh, wait, the proof on that came just the other day. It's a real thing already...
To test the listener, engage an audiologist or doctor of audiology. That should produce definitive results, and remove the unnecessary variables that an ABX test would introduce into a listening test.

this presupposes that the hearing tests are valid examinations and yes/no arbiters for the idea of evaluating audio equipment via said ears.

This is not even remotely proven or defined. (second layer appeal to authority error!)

Just sayin!
