Double Advent wiring question...

Hi

Want to run Double Advent 1 stack in parallel.

Just want to Confirm...

From my Carver amp...

I  can run a speaker run as usual to each speaker and then from 1st set of left channel speaker just run from + to + and - to - negative of second set of speakers so I am running a long jumper.  And do the same for right channel of course.
This should give me a parallel wiring and now amp will be pushing 4ohms..

Thx...

@Mijostin.........Yes tweeter to tweeter....

I have done this before....but amp had a/b speaker capabilities......
@Miller........That is a series wiring which I don't want......

I believe my original post is correct likewise I can run run two wires for each channel from amp but my Carver M200t has those cheap flex terminals that expose minimum gauge see through so I cannot fit two speaker runs per channel as the post is compromised by this design.
Thanks for the replies all...

I have tried Maggie's and the rest as mentioned.......
As a bass player  I find my Advents put me where I want to be....

I know I can shame some high end buyers in regards to diminishing returns..

No need to reply.

Thanks all..

@richoppI

I am gobsmacked by your reply.

It is most unaudiophile.

I have already done this and until you hear the results please don't assume.

You really need to get off the modern bandwagon ride and perhaps listen to some unmodern speakers.....

Please. In true audiophile fashion do so.

What a ridiculous reply.
8th note.....

Can't run spades at amp...need to jumper wire from speaker to speaker...
@mrdecibel...Bad choice of words..meant no shaming....

Just have seen a lot of money wasted on the perceived ladder climb of high end audio....

The reply that initiated that was so against it seemed what we do or can do with this hobby....and quite frankly I believe was incorrect.
We should encourage experimentation...

It's part of what we do....

Besides music we love Sonics...sound and results that can be achieved by experimenting..
This is too funny....

All I wanted was an answer to a wiring question.

Now I am suggesting my project.

Now it's a money thing.....etc....etc....

Folks please stop it.

Thx.....

@8thnote........Perfect  and thank you.

Answered in a true audiophile fashion.

Too all others just enjoy your speakers!

I have stacked before and was pleased...

But I have since moved on to another setup.
Its not a new fad.....

Its very dynamic...again just different and understandably not a 1 size (should) fits all.
