Don Sachs Phono Stage

I have just recently come across the Don Sachs Phono Stage, but haven't been able to find much technical information about it?

For those of you in the know....

What tube compliment does it use?

Does it use any FET's or is it an all tube design?

What is the gain in dB?

I am assuming it is strictly a moving magnet design.  I would be planning on using my Tango SUT with it.  Any issues with noise, hum, tube rush?

Thanks much for your help,
Wishing you all the best of health and happiness,
Don

Think this is the basic design...

So, (4) 6922, (1) 12X4 + JFET & 42dB gain.

Suppose gain could be spec'd for the custom build.

The Link is a excellent collection of information.
The DIY Audio Build thread covers very important points, especially for the Valve Selection.
Reading through some of this info brought back the kind of thinking I was experiencing when having a Custom Built Valve Phonostage produced for me.
Burn In periods and select component changes can move a build into a place that seems beyond achievable.
A second Phonostage I own was modded to work with E88CC Valves,
the Tube Rolling experiences were very revelatory, and I have recollected the good memories of the Mullard when put up for audition.

Good Luck if this is your chosen route and do share your experiences.
