It depends on what you’re streaming. If it’s from a NAS or other home based server source then that’s your front end. If you’re streaming from internet sources then your modem is the front end. If you're in the camp everything matters how much importance is placed on your modem?
Does the 'Buck' Start with the DAC?
Some members have expressed that the server / streaming front end is less important than the DAC.
I subscribe to the position that "Everything Matters"
As I consider front end choices, I'm trying to gauge if I should be leaning more heavily on a DAC versus a SOURCE (server / streamer).
