I worked for Harvey in the 1970s in his storefront in Croton on the Hudson. It was a small operation and barely financed. He purchased semiconductors when he got paid for a unit shipped. The builders were mostly young guys and we built units to rock music playing 5-9. He hired me on my writing sample I provided to him and the fact that I knew vacuum tube technology from the US Navy. I gave him all my programmed learning books that the Navy gave to me. I only worked there for two months, and I built MANY amplifies better and faster than the people he had working for him. I never got to know Harvey well but I did research Julius Futterman.
