Does a wired streamer sound a LOT better than a wireless connection?

I'd rather not crawl under the house and drill through the floor, but I'm willing to do it for a significant improvement.  I hope to add an Auralic Aeries 1 to my system (Cary SI-300.2d, Martin Logan Montis) but the reviews don't seem to specify any differences between wired and wireless. Anyone tried both ways? Favorite wire?

All else being equal:
 does a record sound better than a cd
  does a cd sound better than a streamer
   Does a wired streamer sound better than a wireless streamer

-all else being equal-
-better is not subjective here-
